Bane NOR neglects the Parliaments majority decision

The Ministry of Transport (MoT) has previously been informed about our planning for a logistics centre (freight terminal) at Kopstad in Horten municipality. As MoT is familiar with, our need is to get a separation to the terminal area from the new double track on the Vestfold Railway both from the north and from the south. This was in line with the promises made by the Norwegian Railway in 2012 and 2013 and which were also adopted in the municipal sub-plan for double track Nykirke - Barkåker as late as 2016, but not followed up in the planning process.
